Last Day of School in CA and Last Day of Elementary School
Photo taken in front our our rental home. Carter calls this place a cottage.
Another mom sent me this photo of Carter during his Individual student speech to the class. Mrs. Fleming said earlier at our house that she cries every last day of school. It’s because she cares so much about her kids.
Red Carpet Class Awards
Carter was voted by his class as Class Comedian. He didn’t know if it was going to be Ava or him. This is the award he wanted, he was thrilled!
After this picture, I went to check up on Lincoln. When I picked up carter at the tree in front if the school, I found him more sad than I’ve ever seenbefore. Carter, you said it’s because you’re going to miss miss Mrs. Fleming. You made friends so easily this year, you’ve made meaningful connections in such a short time. That’s why sayinggoodbye is so hard for you. My heart aches for you.
Goodbye Woodbury Elementary...
As we walked to the minivan, Maya’s mom invited us to join them and Anna (Anderson’s mom) for boba tea, their annual last day of school tradition. We ride with them to 7 Leaves.
Lincoln’s friend Isaiah
included Carter in his birthday party at K1 Racing.
Carter had the time of his life!
Sad but also best last day of school, ever!

Carter's first field trip!
the kindergartners were so hungry! Their lunch time at school is 10:20 so by 11, they were asking for food. This picture was taken at noon when we were still waiting for all the classes to line up to head to the picnic. Carter cried, I'm never going to eat. So i bought a bar from the vending machine, we snuck to a corner, and Carter ate voraciously! "Yummy, this is the best chocolate ever! You're the best mommy ever!"
Carter was excited to finally get to ride the yellow school bus!
